Nagylamellás szerkezet - repülőgépszárny alakú fix, vízszintes hossztengelyű alumínium lamellákkal
Library in Debrecen
In line with the complex design, most metal shader types (external venetian blinds, horizontal and vertical exterior shaders with fixed and tiltable fins) are represented on the facade of this building. The most exciting technical challenge was the vertical fix shader above the entrance of the building, which consisted of laterally bent aerofoil profiled fins. The almost 4 meters wide, 2 stories high venetian blind – set on the entrance block as well – was just as brave of an undertaking. The skylights of the reading room in the attic are shaded by a motorized shading system that has tiltable slats – the specialty of this installation is the shading of the opening smoke ventilation windows.
